Nick Mangini, founder of Medicare Sharks, is originally born and raised in Westchester, NY where he was a standout Collegiate Baseball Player and Coach and earned a Business Management Degree and Master’s Teaching Degree. Nick is also a former Palm Beach County High School Athletic Director and Educator prior to opening a family-owned insurance agency with his wife, mother and friends. With his unique background as a teacher and coach, Nick brings the same educational approach to the Medicare insurance world. Instead of confusing jargon and sales tactics, he focuses on educating clients about their health insurance and Medicare Supplement (Medigap) options, so they can make confident and informed decisions about their coverage.

After seeing how overwhelming and confusing Medicare can be, Nick transitioned into the insurance business to make a difference and be an advocate for his clients. Drawing on his leadership experience in athletics and education background, he built Medicare Sharks into a family-run, five-star rated Medicare insurance agency in Palm Beach County to educate clients who are turning 65 and older. Today, Medicare Sharks proudly serves clients locally in Florida and nationwide, specializing in Medicare Supplement Plans like Plan G, Plan N, and High-Deductible Plan G (Plan HDG), as well as providing clear guidance on the differences between Medigap and Medicare Advantage.

Nick also has expanded Medicare Sharks into helping under-65 age clients find affordable health insurance for individuals, families, especially for those who are self-employed and small business owners. Through his own personal experience, finding affordable health insurance through the ACA-marketplace (Obamacare) was almost non-existent, but Nick was able to secure great coverage through an association-style Cigna PPO plan for his family, and reduced his premiums in half!
Nick’s mission has always been simple: treat every client like family. When Nick isn’t working with clients, he is spending quality family time with his wife and kids, enjoying South Florida. Nick still volunteers as the baseball coach for St. Vincent School in Delray Beach and he is also a faithful Christian and volunteers at Christ Fellowship Church. Whether it’s mentoring new agents or helping families navigate healthcare choices, his passion for education, service, and community is at the heart of everything Medicare Sharks represents.
